Our journey into tea began over 15 years ago, while living and working in China—not in tea, but in engineering and science.

Surrounded by incredible teas and a rich tea culture,
we spent our free time exploring tea regions—from the lush green tea mountains of Dong Ting, to the rocky cliffs of Wu Yi Mountain, to the old-growth forests of Yunnan. We learned directly from local farmers, gaining firsthand insight into the art and science of tea making.

We were captivated by tea’s many dimensions:
the diversity of varieties and cultivars, the way picking and crafting techniques determine the type of tea produced—whether green, yellow, white, wulong, red, or black—the influence of terroir on flavor, and how different brewing styles are suited to each type of tea.

Our passion for tea eventually took us beyond China—
to the rolling tea fields of Sri Lanka, the high mountain gardens of Taiwan, and the meticulously cultivated estates of Japan.

Since then, we’ve deepened our knowledge, collaborated with tea professionals, and created tea education content for projects in New York, Mexico, and Argentina.

This space is our way of continuing to share what we’ve learned, are learning and to celebrate the endless world of tea with you.
